Calvin Church is a community committed to growing together in faith, love, and service. We welcome everyone fully to that mission, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

​In March 2024 our congregation adopted a position of “Loving and Learning Together.” We put this position into writing and action. This is what we say, mean, and do about our welcome towards members of the LGBTQ+ community:

• LGBTQ+ persons, including those in same-sex relationships, are welcome to participate in all aspects of the life of Calvin Church.

• People of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and marital status are equally welcome to full membership at Calvin.

• This welcome extends to full participation in leadership as pastors, Elders, Deacons, or worship leaders. It also extends to the institutions of marriage and profession of faith, and to the sacraments of communion and baptism.

• We are committed to ensuring church systems and structures will make LGBTQ+ persons feel supported and welcomed in our community of faith.

• We as a community are committed to growing together in faith by continuing to learn from one another and growing in love of God. We do this by walking with one another, by studying scripture, and humbly listening to one another. We are committed to loving and learning together.
