At Calvin Church, we believe that worship is a heartfelt response to God's love and grace—a sacred time to gather, reflect, and rejoice in His presence.
Our worship style leans traditional, with music primarily led by organ, piano, and choirs. At the same time, we embrace modern and diverse elements, ensuring our liturgy resonates with today's world. This blending of the old and new creates a worship experience that is both grounded and dynamic.
Rooted in reformed theology, our beliefs guide everything from preaching and music to our prayers and sacraments. Each service reflects our commitment to biblical truth and a deep understanding of God's sovereign grace.
Joyful, reverent music
Our music includes traditional and contemporary hymns, typically accompanied by organ or piano. Choirs, handbells, guitarists, and guest musicians regularly contribute to worship.
Biblical preaching
We are spiritually fed by scripture and the word God gives us through our pastors. Sermons are intentionally meant to challenge us, refresh us for the week ahead, and remind us of God’s never ending love and grace. They are biblically sound and shaped by a reformed theology.
Participative liturgy
Members often lead prayers, read scripture, and provide their musical gifts in our worship. We welcome involvement—not only because leading worship is faith-building, but because it reminds us that we are one body in Christ made of many parts.
Accessible worship
All are welcome here. Our services are family-friendly and we put an intentional focus on accessibility so that we can better embody the diverse community of Christ. Our hope is that everyone experiences God's presence through worship.
